It may not be unusual for a school to teach children the value of self-worth in a time that touts invidualism, But for a learning institution to go beyond the classroom and actually reach out to students' home is entirely something else. This is unprecedented unique to our school.
Our school carves a new direction in values formation through seminars and workshops. Values and Rights of the children imbibe the culture of our school. This initiative ensures the holistic development of every child who attends our school.
South Hills International School is non-traditional. Our approach to education is eclectic and pragmatic. We also employ the collaborative, inquiry-based learning. A wide variety of experience, such as art and craft classes, dance and music lessons, cooking sports, school trips, free conversations, games, role playing and programs which show case the talents of our students help to keep our students excited about learning. By unfolding, developing and pursuing their interest, they'll also learn things in ways that are meaningful to them. Love of learning, inquisitiveness and self-awareness are encouraged. In the classroom we "sow the seed of culture" by exposing the children to many areas of learning including botany, history, geography, zoology, social sciences, literature and Social Graces. Field Trips relating to these areas are integral part of the program. Activities like Poetry Reading are done yearly. Fine Dining workshops are also held occassionaly. Chess is likewise a part of the program of the school.
